Kidventure Camps

Dear anonymouslyopinionated, Let me greatly apologize for the very negative experience that you and your child had with Kidventure Camps. At the end of the day, regardless of what our intentions or goals may be, any child or parent who walks away from our camps after having a negative experience is, in some way, a failure on our part. We can do better, and I can assure you, we are more than willing to do whatever it takes to make things right. I have personally spearheaded a new development and evaluation of our Adventurer's Curriculum based on your comments. Starting summer 2011 Kidventure:LEADS will be a brand new distinct camp just for kids ages 12-15. Although we are challenged by the varied talents and preferences of each child, we recognize that there is always room for improvement. We hold ourselves to a higher standard, and your experience with us was simply unacceptable. Thank you for your comments and for highlighting an opportunity for us to improve ourselves. My son had a wonderful camp experience! Kidventure camp turned out to be a great thing for all of us. The organization is outstanding and the activities are so much fun for the kids. more

If you are looking for a summer camp, KEEP LOOKING! This 'camp' is a glorified DAYCARE.... not camp like at all!! Blah! My kids hated it!! We sent them because their friends were all signed up and 'everyone else was doing it.' The material is for much younger children (ages 3-7) even though they heavily advertised it to be for older kids too (8+). If you love your kids, don't be a follower like me ... find a REAL and FUN actual camp for your kids to experience during the summer! Pros: space was available for my kids Cons: your kids will not have fun. Not age appropriate material! more
