The order took 1 hour, 45 minutes to arrive, it was cold, it was incorrect, some of the food was inedible. Need I say more. more

Ordered 2 "Chipotle Grilled Shrimp Tacos" for 10 a piece, they were the 3 tiniest most pathetic tacos I've ever seen. They were fresh out of the pack tortillas slapped together untoasted, the shrimp was so raw it was pink, it was hard to bite through. Terrible experience. I don't recommend ordering delivery, you'll get ripped off. more

Food was great, arrived warm, even in the rain. The burgers were yummy and the spare ribs were very good for the price. They gave us plenty of cornbread, which was sooooo good. Will definitely order again! more

Food is subpar, drinks ok rude bartender, very nasty and disrespectful, these foreigners have no clue on how to run a respectful business. Courtesy is to the customer and they cant comprehend that. And if you think my review is based on one visit u r wrong. i have gone to this place on many occassions and its the same thing...i regret ever tipping them...Shame on me for being a gentelmen and stand up person....they cater and respect ignorance which is a shame.....i could go on and on and on as i have already done smh more

Not a shadow of what it was 11/21/2011

I was a real fan of this place about a couple years ago, I was addicted to the chicken soup they had and their incredible good roasted chicken, then all when down in taste, new recipes, new chef, new owner, whatever may had happen was extremely wrong. Last month I was back to see if they had made any improvement and just wasted my time and money again one more (and last) time. This place is highly not recommended. more

Worst food in Harlem, good drinks. 10/14/2010

Pitiful, awful, just plain wrong. I have been spending my $$ in this places 4 over a year for one reason only; the drinks and their EX-fabulous chicken. Last week I was there again and I did notice something very wrong with my order, I did call the server and ask her if the recipe for the chicken was new and she reply that it was the same, as I insisted she told me that they were trying to ""improve"" the recipe.....??????!!!!!!. They have been improving in this place for too long and they are doing a miserable job. I'm out for good coming back 2 this place. The 1 r is still for the drinks, the food deserves none. more

Impressive chicken in did!! 7/24/2010

Here are 3 good reasons to visit this place; Chicken, chicken and chicken, the best in the area. I have been coming back to this place for some time and always end up ordering the same. This place well deserve 6 stars for their chicken but for some reason they keep messing up with the taste of things that just to be good before. Take my advice and don't order crab cakes or their greasy chili and if you order fried shrimps ask them to make sure not to overcook them. You can thank me later. Pros: Rotisserie Chicken is Amazing Cons: Too many changes, too often more

finally in Harlem good food 3/25/2010

I stop by harlem BAR,B,Q on my way coming from a play with my family and to my surprise the menu is totally change which was long overdue. Just what Harlem was missing a comfortable place to dine many different choices to choose from, my wife ordered the chicken and rib's combo platter and my kids the wings and waffle and candied yam which was delicious, our server recommended for us to try the frozen Long Island drink and also the pi?a colada, it is good to know that somewhere is finally in Harlem as always go way into the city for some good food, and also the desert was real good we had the chocolate bread pudding which was the best I had, and also the Mac and cheese was real good, I also ordered the honey wings to take home, I would definitely be coming back here a lot as I did enjoyed my self. Going from bad 2 worst 2/24/2010

I have been a fan of this place for about 4 months, love the chicken & ribs but I hate the new changes. Last week I took my wife & kids and this is what we found: Bake potatoes & collar greens had sand on it. Potato salad was too bland & sweet. The rice and the chilly was good before but now the rice smells & taste bad and the chili is disgusting. When I told the waiter about the sand in the collar greens & baked potato she just offer to bring a new one instead .One of my kids had the chicken waffle and it was under cook plus the sauce was incredible nasty and spicy. What is wrong with this place? About a month ago I was given a review to fill up and on the question about what will you change, me and my wife answer NOTHING; is there anybody listening? I'm way disappointed with this place, two of us had stomach problems after eating here the last time. Pros: Chicken & ribs are still great Cons: No food identity. Jamaican? West Indias? BBQ? more

My favorite place 1/24/2010

I was at this place yesterday because I love the food there, my last 3 times I found myself ordering the same thing again and again; the BBQ Ribs and chicken combo here taste much better than Dallas BBQ. My boyfriend order chicken wings and I had them before but this time they were very bland, not the same wing I had before. Sorry but I have to take off 1 star. Service was not very good but the wings were the worst. Pros: Price price price! Cons: Chicken wings more

WAS The BEST chicken soup in all Harlem. 1/11/2010

This people did really change their tunes. I was there weeks after the opening and the food was terrible, one of my friend mentions to me recently that he did tray too and the food was ?good? (?). I went back again and I discover my favorite place for dinner, the food was amazing! I had a combination platter with ribs and chicken and I was really surprised, delicious! Obviously this people did change whatever was not working n the kitchen department, only one more thing left to change; service, it was bad before and still is, but considering the prices for what you get this s a real bargain anyway. This people make the BEST chicken soup in all Harlem. Pros: Food & price Cons: Service more

WOW this place is awesome 8/4/2009

My wife and i were going to Dinosaur BBQ and passed BBQ harlem on the way, decided to give 'em a try and wow !!!! the place is really nice has a good ambiance and the food is pretty good, but the best thing is it's very cheap ( it saved me a couple of bucks from going to Dinasour BBQ) Pros: very affordable and good food Cons: They didn't have courvosier when i went there more

This is a soul food place.. if you want diet soul food try somewhere else (and it probably wont taste good fyi)... the ribs are great and I enjoyed the honey chicken as well. Harlem Bar-B-Q has authentic southern sides including the mac and cheese. Only complaint... they fail to update their menu in a timely fashion as not all the items are available and you receive a call later asking what you would like to substitue instead. \r \r I say if your a health nut this is not for you... if your already out of shape you should stay clear.. but if you want to indulge every now and then go for it!!! more

I ordered the BBQ Burger and Red Velvet Cake. The hamburger bun was ridiculously stale and the red velvet cake was probably the worst I've ever had in my life. Only positive was that they were on time and the food was hot when received. more
