Quickset Jewelry Repair

Two watches taken in for repair ESTIMATES in mid-September 2011. Today's date is 12-27-11.... no word on either item. Have followed up TWICE with store staff, once by telephone, once in person. Both times assured by employee that we will receive status or return of watches; last week, received an unsolicited call by a different store employee that the 'owner' has been away and difficult to contact. At this point, both watches are MIA. Have also been told watch repair employee is no longer with the company. Perhaps he/she has our items? My next course of action will be to file a theft report with the Arlington Police Dept and see if that expedites the return of our property. At least these were not Rolexes. I was very upset reading the above reviews! I have been a customer of Quikset for over 10yrs and I have always satisfied with their service and quality of work. I have recommended many friends in the University Park and Highland Park to Quickset. I have had items ranging from my husbands Rolex to a costume pin repaired to my satisfaction and more! Pros: Very helpful and professional staff Cons: parking at noon is difficult! more

I brought a watch in for repair, it wasn't done correctly the first time and when I sent it back they damaged it and would not assume responsibility. Instead, I was told because it was not a new watch, I couldn't prove they damaged it...why would someone bring a new watch in to be repaired? Why didn't they record any additional problems in the first place? This is because there were not any. Pros: ?? more

MY EXPERIENCE WITH QUIKSET WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING. THE PERSON HELPING ME LACKED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WHEN IT CAME TO ASSISTING ME WITH THE PURCHASE OF A RING. THE ORIGINAL ORDER WAS WRONG. I ENDED UP GETTING THE RING 3 WEEKS LATER THAN I WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE IT AND IT WAS A SIZE TOO BIG. SO, I WENT TO THE MANAGER HOPEFUL FOR SOME REAL HELP. THE MANAGER OFFERED ME NO HELP. HE SAID THAT THE EMPLOYEE THAT HELPED ME WAS NO LONGER WITH THE COMPANY. THE MANAGER WAS NOT WILLING TO KEEP MY BUSINESS BY CORRCTING THE MISTAKES MADE BY HIS EMPLOYEE. FIRING THE EMPLOYEE DOES ME NO GOOD. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL NEVER AGAIN DO BUSINESS WITH QUIKSET. more
