Incomparable Customer Service A+++ 9/6/2012

Sewell Lexus of Dallas, Christine Weesner (Sales Associate - cweesner@sewell.com; 214.353.2106), and Alex Oger (Technology Specialist ? aoger@sewell.com) proved to provide incomparable customer service throughout the entire event purchasing my second Lexus from Sewell and Christine. I was consistently updated on the progress of my trade-in as well as purchase. From start to finish, the process was the most swift and efficient I have experienced. Sewell, Christine, Alex, and all others within the dealership I interacted were informative, helpful, and friendly. \r \r Christine and Alex obtained my vehicle settings preferences and had everything set-up when I was ready to pick-up the vehicle (which they offered to deliver if more convenient!). Having previously owned two Audi's, after a year or more, I would "discover" features I never knew existed in both vehicles. Outstanding customer service 1/10/2012

I recently purchased an RX350 from Sewell Lexus and my experience was very special. I changed my mind, switching to different models and colors about a million times, and the salesman was so patient with me and never once got frustrated at my indecisiveness. He (along with everyone else at Sewell) helped me make my decision without any pressure and encouraged me to take my time and make the decision that felt right. I felt like I was the only customer they had, which is how you should feel when buying a car or making any purchase for that matter. I still feel that way everytime I walk into the store to have my car serviced or to get a free (!!) car wash. more

No More Customer For Life 6/29/2011

GET a 2ND OPINION BEFORE HAVING WORK DONE HERE! I've been a customer at Sewell since 2003 when I purchased my car there. I've been bringing my car in for regular service/oil changes ever since. A couple of weeks ago I brought my car in for a regular oil change and was told that I had valve and cam leaks that would cost $1500 to repair. I told them because it was such a high-cost repair that I would bid out the repairs. \r \r I did a lot of research to find a repair shop that had great reviews (I chose MasterTech in Plano) and took my car into them for a 2nd bid/opinion. When I dropped it off they said they are seeing more and more people who are coming in for a 2nd opinion after dealers (including Sewell) have told them work needs to be done only to find out the car is fine. They said if the work does need to be done, their cost for the same repairs was $900. Sure enough, my car was fine and MasterTech returned my keys and car at no charge.\r \r I was shocked. Customer Service Lacking 2/6/2011

I took my RX 350 for 30K maintenance. First, the young lady told me I had a 400h and that's why she was charging more than what I was quoted. I think I know what I drive...she proceeded to correct the invoicing. She told us it would take about 1 1/2 hours. 3 hours later, I asked if car was ready as no one every came to let us know of status. Lo and behold the car was ready. They then proceeded to charge us again for service on a 400h...they corrected it. Did not offer apology or explanation as to why it took so long. I was so disappointed in their customer service that I will not be returning. more

The biggest cheaters 11/17/2010

The first thing that I have to say about Sewell Lexus pre-owned is ... They are big time cheaters. I have bought ES 350 pre-owned from them. I requested for a CaraFax, they gave one which is very clean. I thought it was a very good one that I am buying. But during the course of 6 months, many things came up, the windshield chip repair, GPS repair, painting all over the place, removing the dents... many to list. They did lot of repairs smaller and bigger, but never mentioned in CarFax. If those happened with the previous owner, i cant blame these guys. But when I went to them after noticing these on my car, they simply say, yeah our guys fixed it. but it was not fixed properly. The most important thing is, when they have to replace the wind shield or any, they never fix with the original parts, Big cheating here. I got it confirmed with the sales guy through whom i bought this car that he will replace with an item that the car has previously, but after repairing they just replaced with more

Will Return 10/17/2010

I bought my Lexus from Sewell and have my car serviced there. My husband now takes his Lexus to Sewell in Dallas and Fort Worth. He has been pleased with both locations. I have never had any issues with Sewell in Dallas. They are honest and very helpful. more

Worst Lease agreements I have ever seen 2/16/2009

I was recently tasked with talking to Sewell Lexus about (2) extremely bad lease agreements made with the dealership, and subsequently, what, if anything, could be done. I have my answer as of this morning: 2/16/2009, ""absolutely nothing"". The lease agreements were for (2) company vehicles. One was an RX 400h, and the other an RX 350. The RX 400h contract is for $914/month, and the RX 350 is for $775/month, which is ludicrous. They were written with 80,000 and 60,000 mileage terms for (48) months, which far exceed the 50,000 mile factory warranty. Who does that? No attempt was made in the beginning of the transaction to reduce the cap cost on either vehicle, and obviously nothing was done to make the monthly payments even remotely reasonable. I spoke with the GM there, and he pretty much said ""too bad"". When I told him he had lost two customers, he said ""so what"". Carl Sewell wrote a book on customer loyalty a while back. I guess those days are far behind them. These two lease agreements are a prime example of an overall lack of business ethics. The 400h was even a demo, and it was listed as such on the contract! I warn anyone who is about to do business with them, as they are truly sharks circling you in the water. more

Sewell Service Department 3/21/2008

The facilities are always clean and the Service Advisers have always been courteous and attentive. The waiting room for customers is well appointed and comfortable.The loaner car program is wonderful. It was nice to be able to drop my car off and get a loaner car, of the same brand, in order to go about my daily business.I also appreciate the "extra" touch like the free car washes.Although I have owned my Lexus for just under a year and have had limited interaction with the Service Department at Sewell, I have been impressed with their professionalism, courtesy, and service. more

Stellar Experience at Sewell 3/19/2008

After much deliberation about whether or whether not to purchase a new car. I stopped into Sewell to look at something I saw online, when I was greeted by Allison Cohen, a warm, personable lady, asking if she could show me something. I explained that I was looking for something I saw online and she jumped right in..She should me that vehicle, showed me some others in the same price range and then we proceeded to weigh my options about what would best suit my needs and budget. NO pressure to upsell or even purchase that day. I returned the next day to purchase the shiny black SUV and financing was smoother than I remembered as well. Allison Cohen was an amazing sales person and EASY to deal with on every aspect of this purchase..I WILL GO BACK and send my friends to her as well! more

not as painful as most car dealerships 2/16/2008

The service was exceptional from our salesperson, Jimmy Tseng. He was interested in making the sale, but also in making sure we were going to be happy with the vehicle. The loaner car program is exceptional and though the service rates are a bit high, the area is run so smoothly, any faced pace business professional will immediately appreciate it. more

Very Poor Service 1/2/2007

Got the extended bumper to bumper warranty. I purchased the extended warranty through them and my driver's side window/lock panel came loose and the driver's side passenger door locks would not work from that panel that came loose and they won't fix either. Waste of money and they treat you like second class citizens. more

Sewell Lexus 8/3/2006

Being a luxury car quality dealership, they sold me a lemmon. They car was a major headache from the beginning and everytime I took it for repairs the guys looked at me ugly for taking my car even though it was on guarranty. more
