On 12/22 I rented a car from Walser Bloomington for pick up 12/24 and return on 12/27. I received the confirmation on 12/22 as well. On 12/24, when I went to pick up my car rental, your offices were closed. I had planned to get to the car rental via cab from Northeast Minneapolis ($43 cab ride, with tip $50). Upon arriving, I soon realized your offices were closed and not only was I left at your location by the cab, but I also was not able to drive to the U.P. of Michigan for Christmas with my family. I then had to call a cab to take me back to my home (another $50).
I feel it was incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional of Walser to confirm a rental car service, and leave me stranded for the holiday weekend. I had chosen Walser Toyota for my car rental since I had leased a car through them and felt that this rental would go without error. Normally, I would have gone with a national, recognizable rental agency.
