I must say this was the worst service I have ever received anywhere. A lady that worked there who claimed it was her restaurant actually kicked a guy out of the place for asking ...

its amazing what these folks have done with this space. I don't remember what it used to be there but it's a tight corner space that thank god was converted to a sports bar so that we can now go there with friends and watch the game. Food is remarkably good for a sports bar - and the beer is great! if your game is not on, ask them, they have all the cannels there - staff is uber friendly and attentive. Did I say - Great beer? I tired the October Fest mugs last night - that's a BIG boy for ya. Thumbs up for TB's! Pros: best place to watch the game in the Glebe Rd - Lee Hwy area more

This sports bar rocks 9/4/2009

Thirsty Bernie is great to have in Arlington. It's a good lunch joint, but at night you can see its full beauty. THe food is fantastic, a large selection of beers from europe and the usa complement it. I have been there with family and friends. Always a great time and atmosphere. Pros: very good food, beer and service more

gormet food, great beer & wine selection 8/31/2009

I did not expect to find such great food and wine in what I thought was a neighborhood bar. TB is not your average sports bar, we go their often for lunch with my family (and kids) and at night with friends. Staff is very friendly. It's a small that has a really nice atmosphere. Check out the mushroom dish they have it's yummy! Pros: Great service food and drinks selection Cons: Gets crouded at night - but totally worth it. more

Very Rude..DO NOT EAT HERE 8/13/2009

I must say this was the worst service I have ever received anywhere. A lady that worked there who claimed it was her restaurant actually kicked a guy out of the place for asking for an orange with his beer. The same lady was very rude to the people at my table and berated my friends for not finding French fries on the menu. There is no way this lady (I use the term loosely) could been the owner because people just don?t treat their guest like that. The food was mediocre, the drinks were good but the service was very rude and sub-par. Cons: sub-per service and very rude staff more
