I am disappointed to have to write a bad review of Gianikis Property Management (GPM). I don't take pleasure in making disparaging remarks about people or companies but I realize that by sharing my bad experience I may save others from the same frustration I had to deal with.\r
Upon leaving my townhome I went out of my way to make sure myself and my roommate left the property in good condition. I even had GPM leave a can of matching paint in my place so I could paint over any blemishes. Additionally, I went to the hardware store to get drywall compound to patch over any marks made from nails (pictures) or coat hooks. I took great care in patching, sanding, and then painting over everything. \r
I also vacuumed throughout and removed every single piece of trash/dust/etc. from the entire place. A couple weeks later I received a notice from GPM saying that I would not be receiving my deposit back because I left the place ""FILTHY"". I called to find out details and was told that there were water marks in the toilet bowl and the refrigerator had not been wiped out thoroughly. I found this completely laughable and told them everything I did to clean the property. However, it was to no avail, as they did not offer any other explanation for keeping my money due to the ""FILTHY"" state of the townhome. \r
DO NOT RENT FROM GIANIKIS IF YOU DO NOT LIKE BEING CHEATED OUT OF YOUR MONEY.
Cons: unfair swindling of depsit
