Unacceptable, unsatisfactory, worst in nashville TN 2/16/2009

the review that i am writing is not a good one. i had got some flowers from this store for V-Day and they were not what i wanted in fact they were over priced and ugly. so instead of giving a part of my money back they called my girlfriend at work and proceeded to talk inappropriately to her about the flowers that i had called about. i would never use this company for any type of flowers because the do not care about the customer they only care about the money. my review for them can be summed up in a couple words. abominable, amiss, atrocious, awful, bad news*, beastly, blah*, bottom out, bummer*, careless, cheap, cheesy*, cruddy, crummy*, defective, deficient, diddly, dissatisfactory, downer*, dreadful, erroneous, fallacious, faulty, garbage, godawful, grody, gross*, grungy*, icky*, imperfect, inadequate, incorrect, inferior, junky, lousy*, not good, off, poor, raunchy*, rough, sad, slipshod, stinking, substandard, synthetic, the pits, unacceptable, unsatisfactory. SO IN MY OPINTION I WOULD NOT USE THEM Cons: there hole store, Quality of flowers, arrangement's, Ect. more

i love these people! 1/22/2009

not only are their arrangements beautiful, but their level of customer care is amazing! robyn and her team are the most gentle, friendly, and wonderful people i have worked with for flower arrangements! after being rudely screamed at and thrown out of another flower shop a few doors down, (while extremely stressed and overwhelmed with planning my wedding) i walked into the tulip tree and broke down into tears. all because i wanted a pretty flower for my hair on the day of my wedding. these kind people took me under their wing and comforted me, assuring me that they would give me the very best of care. they helped me to choose a perfect flower arrangement for my wedding day, and had the arrangement ready right on time! it couldn't possibly have been more perfect in my hair! it looked grogeous! i also ordered my centerpieces for my rehearsal dinner from robyn's team and they were exactly what i'd hoped for! they were delivered to the location right on time, and were even more dramatic than what i felt i deserved- all for an excellent price. Pros: BEAUTIFUL arrangements & flawless customer care! more

So so... 6/17/2008

I have used The Tulip Tree on a few occasions. And while the quality is very good, it is over priced and they lack artistic ability it seems. When asked for an arrangement that was ""loose and airy"", meaning leave the stems intact, I ended up getting a very tightly compact design in a vase. Additionally, when I called another time at 9:00 AM to order an arrangement for delivery by 3:00 PM, they could do it but it was at a premium and still couldn't guarantee it would be there in time. I might suggest checking around. There are other florists downtown with equal quality and a more reasonable price. Pros: Good quality Cons: Over priced, not very good service, poor design options/quality more

Not What I Ordered 5/12/2006

I recently ordered flowers for a corporate shareholder's meeting. I left our Waterford vase, a sample of the stationary (white with a very deep regal red logo) to which to coordinatetje flowers and my business card. A fellow worker stopped by to pick up the arrangement and was told there was no order for us. The next person said there was confusion and had tried to call me for 2 days - they had my office & cell number - they called neither. The flowers were deep purple with offwhite roses and astilbe. Not the deep red and white as in the sample, which was still with the arrangement along with my business card. I was very disappointed to say the least. Pros: Good quality Cons: High Price, Got Order Wrong more

Wonderful!! 9/2/2005

I recently sent a birthday arrangement to a Nashville friend from The Tulip Tree, and she called me immediately upon receiving it to comment on how exquisite it was. Although the flowers were a bit pricey ($50 for a small arrangement), they were very high-quality (hydrangeas, tulips, roses, etc.), and the arrangement didn't contain the typical filler flowers (carnations, baby's breath, etc.). I definitely recommend The Tulip Tree! Pros: beautiful flowers, no "filler" flowers, artistic design Cons: a little pricey more
