Horrible Service, refused to correct. 1/10/2012

AVOID THIS DUMP AND GO TO A RESPECTED DRY CLEANER!!!\r \r I took in 3 shirts, a pair of jeans, and a pair of dress slacks that matched a suit jacket. I asked the cleaner in Lexington to repair the zipper on the jeans only, dry clean the shirts, and dry clean the slacks. I asked for a quote on prices, and was told by the woman at the counter that the shirts were $1.65 each, about $4 for the slacks, and $15 to repair the zipper in the new pair of jeans. \r When I got the clothes back from the cleaner, I was overcharged at a cost of $4.95 per shirt, which nearly doubled the final total from the original quote. I asked to see a price list, and was told they have nothing of the sort, and just recite pricing from memory. This made me start to question this place. Upon inspection of the clothes, it was discovered that the jeans had the maker label on the back damaged to the point that the label crumbled in my hand. I then examined the black wool dress pants, and discovered that they'd been shrunken to the point I could not wear them, and the color was so faded they no longer even remotely matched the jacket.\r In addition to this, the single-pleat pants were now double-pleated, and poorly so. Apparently, rather than dry cleaning the slacks, this facility laundered them.\r In addition the the above problems, all clothing was covered with foreign fibers.\r \r I returned with the clothes, and gave my complaints to the woman at the counter, and was told there was nothing she could do about the damage, and that I must be mistaken on the prices I was given, even though those shirt prices were posted on a huge billboard in front of their storefront. The ad read ""$1.65 per shirt if having more than $15 in dry-cleaning done."" I paid $40 for the cleaning, and was still charged $4.95 per shirt, and was told there was never anything cheaper than $2+ per shirt there.\r I at this point asked to speak to a manager, and was told there isn't one on site, and that he travels between the 7 stores randomly, and furthermore, they have absolutely no way to reach the manager from their location. He just shows up when he pleases.\r I then left my name and number to get a call back from this mysterious roving manager, and left. One week later, I'd still not received a call back, so I returned yet again to the store, and recited the whole story to the woman at the counter yet again, and was told the manager shows up in the mornings.\r I left, and called the next morning, spoke to the manager, and informed him I would be there shortly.\r Upon arrival at the store, I was greeted by a rude, obnoxious man who was disinterested in the issues, and refused to offer a refund, or any other sort of solution except to tell me that no business on earth ever refunds money to a customer, Such a practice as mentioned is never done by their company, and at best, he was willing to take the pants back and ""fix"" them. How he planned to remove the foreign fibersr on the slacks, stretch them to fit me again, and re-dye them to match my jacket I do not know, but I left at that point, and am here now to write this review.\r \r The ONE positive review posted here is most likely written by an employee or the manager of the store himself. They overcharge, do lousy work, and refuse to stand behind what they do, or correct the mistakes they've made under any circumstances.\r \r My next call will be to local news stations to seek out a consumer advocacy correspondent. more
