Man, I've been in a lot music stores in the USA, but never one like this. Dirty, a mess of cheap stuff, & a strong hustle to buy something. And then got a touch of sarchasm when it looked like I wasn't going to find anything there. But I did find an off brand that was interesting. Good thing I didn't buy it or the baloney I was told about it. And I would have paid too much, too.
It did turn out to ba a pretty good place to buy picks, strings, & music accessories. Not because of price, as the prices were about average - but the store location is convenient for me.
I'm glad I never bought anything that cost very much in that store, as I constantly run into people who never shop there anymore because they got ripped off & deceived with purchases of used instruments sold as new, overcharging, misinformation, and frequent hustles involving deals ""too good to be true"" & problems waiting to get ordered items held up on delivery trucks due to ""cash flow problems."" What kind of service is that?
There are plenty of good music stores in the area, so I say it's worth driving to them first & spare yourself overpayment or disappointment.
Too many people around refer to this store as ""a bunch of crooks."" I can see why.
