Love Them!!! 11/5/2010

I have never had a bad experience with Patt, I took my sick cat there (AFTER I read the negetive reviews) when my original vet (Pottsgrove) said they were too busy to see her. They got her in immediately & took very good care of her. She's healthy again & I am now taking my new kitten there! The staff is very nice & professional. The front desk is really helpful & easy to talk too. They are extremely clean & I feel more than comfortable taking both my cats there. more

IGNORANT PEOPLE 1/19/2010

Let me set the mood... My dog stopped eating and lost a lot of weight. I took her to Patts and was very pleased when they saw my dog in a matter of minutes, but it all went DOWN HILL FROM THERE! It was almost 8:00 until I got out ouf there. (2 hrs I was there). The doc told me I had to rush my dog to emergency care hospital, because she was dying. Then she told me they were just about ready to close, so that's why they couldn't do the proceedure there. That crap to tell a person who is upset and crying over having to have an operation for their pet, (and wasn't guaranteed to save her, but would cost $1000s of dollars). I took her home that night and was SO afraid I'd wake up the next morning and she'd be gone. She started eating after giving her the pills they gave for her. That was Fri afternoon. Monday afternoon I called, I had a question about something the Doc said to me. The receptionist looked over my dogs file and got back on the phone & told me "Your dog is very sick, you need more

Heartless 12/8/2008

If you are looking for heartless people running a veterinary hospital then this is the place for you. When my cat of 18 years, my best friend that I grew up with as a child, started to die...I needed to take him to the nearest vet and my usual vet is about 30mins away. So I took him to Patt's. This was about 3 weeks before Christmas. You can imagine my emotions as I am holding my dying cat in my arms, who I never wanted to see suffer. The women at the desk were COMPLETELY emotionless. With the exception of one of them. They told me that in order to go back in the room with my cat and be with him while they put him to sleep I had to pay extra! I argued a bit and the one woman told her that she shouldn't make me pay. My cat was suffering and I paid the fee so I could go back with him. After trying to find a vein to give him the shot in about 3 or 4 times (his veins had collapsed) The vet said they had to take him to another room and put the shot directly in his heart. I said my goodbyes more
