The Best Bagels! The cutest gift ideas and baskets! The best Colombo frozen yogurt combinations! Delancey’s could quite possibly be one of Bala Cynwyd’s best-kept secrets. It sits in the corner of the Bala Shopping Center. I had no idea how large and spacious the store is. There is ample seating. Everyone from business execs, couples, family’s and students use Delancey’s as an extension of their board rooms, classrooms, offices and dinner tables. I’m sure in addition to the bagels (my fav is the asiago) the free WIFI for customers, keep us all coming back and bringing friends. My top three meals to die for are the tuna melt, pizza bagel with sausage and the apple walnut chicken salad. Don’t tell anyone but if people watching is your thing, I’ve seen Vivian Green (singer), Guy Tory (comedian), and a few Sixer's players. They even have a Coffee Bar!!! Love it! Wanna a bagel? Don't come here, they take your order and make you wait, you wait until you notice everyone after you have gotten your order and find out they haven't taken your order and say they didn't receive any such order. You ask for a refund and they make a big fuss. I feel sorry for the owner cause her employees are pocketing her profit and she wouldn't know the difference. more

While waiting for my bagel sandwich, I went to the ladies room which was run down with a stained toilet. I then had time to check out the bakery case. There were 4 fruit torts all covered with white furry mold. There was also a chocolate cake with mold spots on it. I'm now worried about eating my sandwich as the cleanliness of this restaurant is questionalbe. Pros: Bagels are good Cons: steer clear of the bakery case- moldy food! more

This place is disgusting. There were flies and other insects in the case where they keep their muffins. Tables were dirty, food was stale. Can hardly move when you are waiting for your food because you are shoved into some corner with all the other guests. Layout is not very practical. I hear the Delancey Street Bagels in Wynnewood is a thousand times better so I am going to try it out there. more

THIS IS DEFINATELY THE BEST PLACE TO GET YOUR BAGELS!!!!!!! They are always soft and delicious.....everyone would agree that if you have the urge for a soft delicious warm bagel or some of the best muffins around this is the place to be. Its definately the best I've ever had and I will keep going back for more!!!!! - You should definately stop by and see for yourself.
