I purchased a chinchilla from this store on Tuesday, November 21, 2006. We were given a 48 hour warranty on the pet. On Thanksgiving Day, the 23rd, we rushed the chinchilla to a vet hospital near Washington, D.C. as we were told when we called numerous emergency veterinary hotlines. The veternarian told us that one of the health problems with the chinchilla was pre-existing and we should return the chinchilla to the pet store to receive a refund. When we tried to return the pet on the next business day, black friday, the managers told us that is wasn't their problem and there was nothing they could do. Needless to say, i am out over $250 and left with a string of obscene words on the tip of my tongue.
