Huge, overpriced dissapointment! 12/28/2009

I had only heard great things about this place, however, I was supremely dissapointed with the whole experience. The food is very overpriced for the quality, and it is served in styrofoam containers (takeout) which seems so cheap and outdated. The dining room is slightly sad and pathetic, with ripped booth seats and cheap ornaments adorning the walls. My advice: stick with the more affordable, better-tasting chinese takeout. I highly recommend Golden City, a short distance away from Thai Taste on Glenway Ave. Cons: They still use styrofoam - so un-ecofriendly and cheap! more

Incredible Sushi! and everything else! 3/20/2009

The service is great! Always friendly. Our whole family loves the Sushi, the hardest part is trying to decide what kind to get. So much to choose from. We have never had a bad experience with either the food or the service. Love this place. Pros: Finally got real Sushi on the west side Cons: No Cons, all good more

Fantastic Moderately Priced Family That Restaurant 2/15/2009

I read the other reviews before I wrote this, and I was very surprised to see any negative reviews. I have been going here since they opened, and I've always found the staff extremely nice and friendly and the food to be very good. One person said to eat at a genuine Thai place, and I'd see that this wasn't thai. I've eaten at many Thai restaurants, and I've found that the food is comparable or better than any moderately priced Thai restaurant I've been to. This is a moderately priced family restaurant, so it is unfair to rate it against upper scale That restaurants.. You must also take into account regional variations in Thai food. The only negative remark I would agree with is that one dish was more salty than I like, but I believe that was the norm for that dish as I've never experienced that with any other dish. A dish with heavy seafood will naturally contain higher levels of sodium due to what is absored and ingested by salt water life. I've taken many friends, acquaintances and business associates here, and they have all liked it as much as I do. I would go here every day if I had the time and money for my family and I to eat out every day. I went there last night, and I want to go again today. I love this place. Pros: Friendly, courteous staff, moderately priced, excellent food for price Cons: Can't think of any more

One of the best restaurants on the Westside 10/21/2008

This place is great. My Wife and I have been going here since they opened. Lucky for me they have Sushi for my Wife (she's not a big Thai Fan) but she loves their sushi. I'm the opposite, our taste buds are the best of both worlds! If you have ever had a problem with their service it's most likely you or your party thats the issue. We have never had bad service. The last guy that wrote a review must of had a bad day and wants to blame it on something. I have never left a review for anything, but after reading he's review I needed to set the record straight. I'm so glad that this place is on the westside. Good food-great prices! Get your food Thai Hot (10)!! more

Anything but Thai...for the rates they charge‎ 10/5/2008

I've been to this place about twice and both the times my experience has been extremely distasteful. The folks who work here literally gape at the customers as if theyre seeing people for the first time. Next is the quality of service which is pathetic. I will not complain about ambience cos I knew where I was going to eat and went into the restaurant with my eyes wide open. But that being said, I do want to let you know that the food they serve is anything but Thai. Eat once in an authentic Thai restaurant to know what is the difference between this place and the rest. Have been to a few very bad food joints but this Thai Taste beats them all. Next time I will rather stay hungry than eat in this place. more

Best Thai Food you will ever eat-All the noodle dishes are especially wonderful and different 3/17/2008

This little spot is the best place for Thai food! We have tried just about everything on the menu. Pros: Food wonderful, portions good Cons: parking if really busy, but not enough to keep us away more

Salty Chinese Taste, not Thai 2/5/2008

Salty, overpriced, not Thai tasting meals that taste more Chinese than anything else. They make good Sushi though. Otherwise avoide this place. Pros: Good Sushi & Fresh Wasabi Cons: Thai food is ruined w/ too much salt & Chinese flavoring more
