I know it's a beauty school and students perform the services, but the supervisors are there to make sure it's right. My daughter had her nails done there for homecoming and it wasn't a good job. When the supervisors were told, the supervisors themselves, not only fixed her nails, but did her updo and makeup too. They went above and beyond to make it right. So you are now saying, "Aha. See you shouldn't go there". But how about when I went to a "regular" salon was burned by the curling iron, or my bangs were cut crooked, or the time I asked for a body perm and came out looking like a poodle! I've never had this problem at Casal Aveda Institute.
Pros: Cost, pampering service, supervision.
