This place is a RARE GEM, and a pleasure to do business with! If only they ran a HOME CENTER! It is seldom in today's world that you find someone who actually knows their business. I believe everyone I encountered at this location was an expert in their field. I called first to see if they had my part. It was waiting on me at the counter; eventhough, I didn't leave my name when I called. I was given installation instructions when I left the store, without having to ask for them. This may be the first time I've bought an appliance part, but it's nice to know businesses like this still exist. more

Best store for appliance replacement parts 7/24/2009

This store is great. I have purchased replacement parts for my dryer, refrigerator, and oven. The only place I can ever find the parts I need in stock - everyone else has to order them. And the prices are lower than everywhere else. The people that work there are like encyclopedias of appliances and they always provide helpful repair assistance. Strongly recommended. more

Best Appliance Part Company in Akron-Canton-Cleveland 6/20/2008

What an excellent store. I called EVERYWHERE in the extended area for parts for my washer. Couldn't find them in stock at any other store (some other stores couldn't even order them for me). This company had the part IN STOCK & AT THE LOWEST PRICE anywhere. Plus, the owner was so knowledgeable. He told me how to install the part and gave me a tip to actually save me money. Excellent business! Highly recommended! more

A lot to learn in the customer service dept. 3/10/2007

Sure, they probably have your part or can order it, but be prepared to face the arrogant attitude of the owner. Don't bother stepping in the door unless you know everything about the appliance or part you're shopping for or you'll be sent home empty-handed to do more research. If you're expecting the friendly advice of ACE Hardware, this isn't the place. Expect to wait in line. You're better off doing your research & buying the part online than to suffer needlessly through the verbal onslaught that is Home Appliance Parts of Akron, OH. more

Find parts for your appliances 9/16/2006

This is the place to go if you need a part for one of your appliances, like if you need a rack for your oven or a replacement shelf for your refrigerator or a knob for your stove. This place has just about any piece you might need, or they can help you find it, and they have good prices for their items. The people are very helpful in finding what you need, too. PROS: Helpful people, good prices, lots of parts available CONS: None more
