This is a fantastic restaurant. Since we visited Italy last year, it has been difficult to recreate the atmosphere and lighter dishes of Southern Italy. So many people here think Italian food is "chicken parm." Ristorante Lucano serves creative dishes at a price that reflects the fresh ingredients and care put into each plate. The menu is listed as it is in Italy, with "primi piati" of pasta dishes and "segundo piati" of meat-based dishes. The buffalo dish we tasted recently was beautifully presented and wonderfully flavorful. Save room for "dolci"--dessert! The chef is endlessly creative. You must try this restaurant for a true taste of Italy.
