I went to Dr. Adler because I suddenly developed a severe ear infection overnight and was in terrible pain. He was nice enough to see me the next morning, which is why I gave him 2 stars. He told me I had a perforated eardrum, shot some kind of spray in there to clean it out, and prescribed antibiotics. I went back to see him a week later and he said it looked fine and healed. That same night I developed another severe earache which kept me up in pain all night, and had to go back to see him the next day. It was just about to perforate again! He gave me more antibiotics. I don't understand how I could develop this severe earache without him seeing something going on when he saw me that same day. A week later I went back for him to check it again. When I went back the final time, he said I still had fluid in my ears and it would just go away, but he didn't want to see me anymore. . I asked him if he could prescribe steroid nasal spray, because I read that it could help open up the Eustachian tube, and he said "Why not". I think he should have prescribed that without me asking and not leave me with fluid in my ears or even tell me to come back to have it checked. Six months later, I still have the fluid in my ear.
