A cozy spa..BUT 10/6/2006

I LOVE Spa Del Lago. It's a cute, cozy place in a great location. The waterfall in the waiting area is beautiful and relaxing. I loved the massages that I have received there. HOWEVER, I can't believe that manner in which the front desk staff treats customers. I have seen better customer service at MacDonalds from someone who barely spoke English. I have stopped going for that reason alone. I was willing to make the drive from Maple Valley to Madison Park because Tyler and Kristen are talented massage therapists, but the cold shoulder and rudeness from the reception staff is not something that I am going to tolerate. If you can see past such unacceptable behavior, ANY treatment you will get at this spa is delightful, relaxing and will leave you feeling wonderful. more

Great waxing experience! 6/23/2006

A few weeks ago before i went on vacation i needed to get waxed. The usual place that i go to on Capital Hill is Wax on Spa but they didn't have any appointments so i called Spa de Lago. And i will go back. This place is much better than Wax on Spa. Not only is it more friendly but the service is so much better as well. I highly recommend this place and will go back here for all my waxing. more

Spa Del Lago = great eye brow wax 4/13/2006

I went to Spa del Lago a few years ago for mani, pedi, and eyebrow wax - the wax was the best part of my day! I've never had someone spend more time perfecting my brows - and no I did not have a unibrow! They even used the tiny little scissors! I knew she wasn’t going to let me leave that room until my brows were perfect, which they were when I walked out. The spa is in Madison Park and they charge $20 for a brow wax. Be sure to check out their website for other services that are offered. more

Come Here! 10/27/2005

Spa Del Lago is the place to go for a manicure / pedicure. There prices are totally reasonable, and you will not be disappointed by the service. Reception is friendly, atmosphere is very relaxing - NOT snooty at all, and their manicurists do a fabulous job. This is the perfect rainy sunday afternoon activity to do alone or with a buddy. Grab a latte at starbucks, head to Spa Del Lago, and enjoy. :) more

Pricey Pampering 7/7/2005

I took my mother here for Mother's Day for a manicure/pedicure and this was seriously the BEST pedi I have *ever* experienced. I had the hot stone pedi and it was like an hour long! As a new mom, this was the most relaxing thing ever! The decor is fabulous and the staff was nice, which is great, because who needs snotty staff when you're shelling out over $50 to have your toes painted? The area for pedis seats a number of people but you don't feel squished or anything, which is also great for going in a group. One particularly nice touch was the neck warmer while you getting your toes done! more

  • In Short
Clients walk down the lemon-yellow, candlelit hallway and a warm sanctuary of treatment rooms is revealed. It's a nice place to stop in for a pedicure or a cut, but even better if an extra hour or two are dedicated to a massage and facial--the relaxing rooms in back block out the noise of the salon almost completely. Manicures and pedicures are most popular, and the massage and skin therapies are always booked out at least a few days in advance.

    The Details
Massage, body treatments, acupuncture, facials, hair removal, sunless tanning, manicure/pedicure, full-service salon, makeup application.
