Always packed with Thai Basil 11/4/2005

This Thai and Chinese restaurant is located on Alameda Blvd between Downing and Broadway. The ambiance is nice for a date and the food is really good with large portions. Expect to pay at least $8.99 per person per entrée. The price is very worth it though. Parking can be difficult because this restaurant is in the middle of a neighborhood with no parking lot. Street parking is usually accessible nearby but expect to walk a block or two. more

Best Thai food in Denver 9/21/2005

Almost every time I drive by Thai Basil in the evening, there are people standing outside waiting for a table. And for good reason! The food is wonderful, yet inexpensive. The service is quick, yet friendly and attentive. We never wait long for a table, and despite the fact that the is almost always full, the noise level is not bad. I would highly recommend any of the curries. more

Great Thai food 7/7/2005

Thai Basil has a comprehensive menu of Thai food and Chinese food. The curries are quite good, and are served in a clay pot with a flame beneath to keep the food warm. I also like the old standbys such as pad thai and kung pao chicken. Entrees run $10- $12 for the most part, and the alcohol is also not expensive, with wines under $5 per glass. more
