My sister is a shopping genius. She knows THE places to go in the city for everything. So, when she suggested that I test out her hairstylist for my wedding, I eagerly jumped.
I went in for a wedding hair trial run, and came out with much more.
I have been pretty bitter about needing to grow out my hair for the wedding, so just gave it a straight chop. I was starting to feel a little depressed. Tom took one look at me, and said what I needed to hear--it was way to plain, and I needed a cut that would frame my face. So, before he did my wedding hair, he took care of my everyday hair. He has a great eye for what looks good. When I got carried away and pushed for a much shorter cut, which he talked me out of. And I am grateful. I left feeling so much more perky, and people keep complimenting me on how great my hair is. If you take into account that I am a total tomboy and don't do anything more than washing and brushing my hair on a daily basis, you will get a true account of Tom's skills.
Be warned, prices do run high, and there are two Toms. But both do a fantastic job.
