Palo Verde Hospital

This could be a very good place if only the management would tend to patient related issues versus sucking the place dry with unheard of salaries and a board that does not care if the medical director does things of criminal nature,pays his defense attorney, ect. There are a few good physicians and nurses there and the need does exist for the facility. The best thing for this place would be to fire the active board, medical director and be purchased by a real hospital organization that does care about the budget, patient care, staff education, safety and the community. Unfortunately there have been many attempts to remove the poisonous head of this place with no success even though there have been federal charges brought up against him. That place is ran by intimidation and fear. I should know having been there. more

I took my daughter into the ER with a head injury caused by a human tooth. The "Doctor" did everything wrong to my little 6 year old daughter. It was so bad that her injury got infected and I had to drive 200 miles round trip to a good hospital to get her real professional treatment. This hospital needs to close down or they need to start hiring staff that know what they are doing. If I get hurt close to this hospital, please drive me as far away from it as you can. more

I thought I had an ER nurse it turned out the person was a LPN not background in ER training and no manners either. Fast visit NO not at all. The staff doesn't even know what "traige" means. The nurses and staff do not even wash there hands in between patients, I thought that was national regulation? more

This place is a lousy excuse for a hospital, about on a par with the notorious King-Drew Medical Center in South Los Angeles. Just the other day, my wife went there to be seen and was directed to sit on a bed that was dirty and had used hypodermic needles and blood-stained cloths laying on it. The nurse ordered my wife very rudely to sit on the bed anyway. more

Palo Verde Hospital is a smaller hospital but a very good hospital..They offer a 24 hour emergency room, ER physician is on duty 24 hours a day. This is a great facility , with available lab, ultrasound, Ct Technology, and a wonderful staff of nurses and physicians. Cafeteria and vending machines available .. more
