Receptionists apparently don't like to do their job 5/18/2012

Good luck getting through to schedule an appointment! I called University Dermatology Consultants on a Wednesday. They transferred me to the location I requested, but I was sent to the voicemail. I left a detailed message, saying my name, that I was a new patient, what service I was requesting, and my phone number. I repeated my name and phone number and asked that they call me back to schedule an appointment. No call back on Wednesday. No call on Thursday. Friday I call, well before their office was closed, and could not reach a receptionist after several minutes. So I hung up and dialed again. This time, after several minutes, someone picked up the phone only to hang up without saying a word. I do not know what the doctors are like, because I was never given the CHANCE to schedule an appointment, however the work ethic of their other personnel is terrible. Thus why they receive 1 star from me. Would have liked to save the money by going here instead of the specialist I had to choose. But saved me the frustration of repeat attempts. more

and i thought dermatologists were expensive! 6/26/2005

Myfriend had started to get acne about a year and a half ago, so of course she tried everything otc there is to buy, and nothing was working. she didnt have cystic acne, but there were pimples all over her face and she could not get a handle on them. she tried proactive(what a joke) neutrogena, oxy, clearisil, etc... and i was researching acne on the net with various message boards to see what kinds of treatment people were using, and had to find a dermatologist. This place is so great! they are affiliated with UC , and are so helpful and understanding there. I was surprised how cheap it is also, only 75 bucks plus they give you alot of samples also more
