Juicy yummy and cold 3/17/2009

This place reminds me of the old diners, where you flash your head light and they'll come to take your order. The tray clips onto your window with 70s music playing. I love their burgers, very juicy and great toppings. Their fries are crispy and fresh. I typically get a burger, fries and a vanilla milkshake. Bit hard to eat with the whole window thing, I spilled fries all over my car one time because the fries box was tall and the wind blew. The burgers are juicy and made fresh as well. You should go. It's right off the 520 and you can see the sign driving to the east side off the bridge. more

Master of Burgers 4/11/2006

Our family became a fan of Burgermaster with the birth of our child. With her slightly erratic sleep patterns and tendency to wake up cranky, dining in a restaurant was iffy at first. Burgermaster to the rescue. Pull up in your car, turn on your lights for attention, and have the food delivered right to your window. Service is usually quick unless they have a crash of their wireless order system. They'll nickel and dime you for ketchup and tartar sauce. I'm surprised they don't charge you for napkins. But the burgers are good, the shakes and floats are tasty, and the convenience is hard to overlook. Prices are reasonable. Also a great place to people watch. more

'50s' Style Drive-In with Burgers and More 3/18/2006

Except for the prices, eating at Burgermaster is like going back in time. There are carhops bringing you fresh food to your car, Oldies being played over their speaker system and shakes that are outstanding. There are burgers and chicken, fish and salads. Oh, and you can get a big cup of fries and they have crispy onion rings. You can even get a veggie burger. The prices are more than MickeyD's but the food is worth every penny. If you don't mind getting crumbs on the floor of your car, you're like this piece of nostalgia. I believe that the Bothell Burgermaster is the newest addition to the 1950s style chain. more

Close, but no cigar... 12/1/2005

I hail from California, home to THE best burger joint: In n Out. I haven't been impressed by any fastfood burgers here in the Northwest, but we have been to Burgermaster a few times in the summer. I would say these burgers are far better than the very popular Dick's burgers, but not as fresh as what I am used to. The shakes are good and the fries aren't bad. My kids like it there because we leave the dvd player on so they can eat and watch their favorite Disney flick--like the other poster said, your car will smell of fried food for a few days. more

A drive-up burgerstand with real car-hops!! 8/19/2005

Burgermaster is a novelty burger stand in Bellevue, right off the 520. It is a throw-back to the drive-ups of long ago with car-hops and trays that fit onto your window. My kids were amazed at the sight!! The burgers are huge and messy, but good. Fries and onion rings are crisp and loaded with calories I’m sure, but worth it. If you go, you must get a milk-shake. They are super thick and very filling. The berry shakes are outstanding but very strong. The prices are reasonable; just know that your car will smell of French fries for a couple of days. And don’t forget to tip your car-hop! more
