Horrible establishment and the poorest of employees 2/3/2015

Sure hope the employees of this establishment are content with themselves after calling a tow company to tow countless vehicles of mostly teenagers and parents of teenagers accompanying there children to a local concert. 7 degrees out, 11pm at night and only being parked in your parking lot for a couple hours they are forced to stand out in the frigid cold, most crying because they do not know what to do, trying to call a taxi or ride-share (but none are available because 50 people are trying to call from one area because their cars are towed). Then locking your doors so no one can escape the cold and then actually laughing in the faces of people who's car you called into a tow company, despite your establishment being closed to walk in traffic anyway. Pathetic and unmoral employees like this feed into the bad rap Omaha has more

Horrible! 4/20/2012

Parked here and went and grabbed a bite to eat. There food wasn't that good even for Burger King. Then my wife and I decided to walk down to some of the bars around there so we just left our car. Well WTF Burgar King? Came back and my car was towed! I wasn't even in then main parking lot. It was like a side parking lot. Well we aren't from Omaha and had to get a Hotel because Heartland Towing & Recovery doesn't allow you to get your cars at night. Long story short with the hotel & towing charges I paid $300+ for a CRAPPY burger! Never going to BK again! Lost one customer for life. Just mostly letting people know. Once you step off their property EVEN if you ate there you aren't a customer anymore and THEY are horrible people and will tow your vehicle. more

BK 9/21/2005

Burger King, The Home of the Whopper is the number 2 fast-food burger joint in the nation, eclipsed by giant Wendy's and eyeballing the slowly gaining Wendy's. Burger King has been out of it's element for some time, floundering with poor-selling limited-time menu items and their accompanying ad campaigns (Fire Grilled Chicken Sandwich comes to mind). Struggling with how to present their image to the public the folks at BK have once again dumped ad companies and are now trying a comical, surreal, and transparently "hip" new look with the creepy "...The King" commercials. Also as new higher-priced menu blunders have failed the King and company have been making up for it by slowly raising the prices on their 'Value Menu' items. Nonetheless, quality-wise Burger King is better than top-dog McDonalds: ingredients tend to taste fresher, burgers are grilled not steamed and things generally seem to have been sitting around less time. Also note, when asked, they will make items to order instead if giving you what is under the heat lamps. Try asking for your sandwich "off the broiler" - you may get some rather confused looks, but if you press the issue eventually someone with some seniority will get you a fresh cooked burger going. Might take a bit longer, but is noticeably worth it. If I could really Have It My Way, Burger King would return to the days of old when they concentrated on 'food' instead of 'product' and stuck to what they do best instead of constantly chasing the attention of the public by throwing out trash and hoping something sticks...but alas, that is the new way of the marketplace and the bottom line is the bottom line. The 13th St location is average quality wise, average in cleanliness and average in service. Order accuracy is generally good, but check your bag if you're taking out during peak times. Fast food used to be so much better. more
