So, I've been to Buddha's Favorite before, and remember it being alright. I went for a friend's birthday, and was really disappointed with the sushi. The cooked rolls were good, but anything with raw fish tasted fishy. We actually sent one roll back after we all agreed it was not edible. We had to flag the waitress down to take our drink order, and on a separate occasion, our food order. Getting the bill and having her ring it up also took a very long time. After paying the bill, we sat at the table for 5 -10 minutes, and then went to the parking lot to say our goodbyes. The waitress had the nerve to come out to the parking lot to ask if the service was bad because she said we didn't leave her enough tip! Granted we had accidentally left less than I thought, so I gave her more money. But after I paid her more, the group confessed that the food and service was actually really bad (everyone was holding it in previously since it was a birthday, to be polite). So, when the waitress came out with change, one of our party let her know that our food did taste fishy, and the service was slow. She had the nerve to talk back to us and say that we should have said something sooner about the food. We pointed out that we did send one of the rolls back. The nerve, first to ask for more tip, then to argue back when we answer her question about the service! What happened to the customer is always right? I'm sorry, but I have worked as a server and I would never dream of walking to the parking lot to ask for more tip OR arguing with the customer if they were unsatisfied with the service. I don't think I will go there again after that experience.
Pros: Great ambience and great view
Cons: Sushi was not fresh and bad service
