Heating System Tune-Up 11/2/2017

This afternoon (11/2/17), I had two furnaces looked at to see if everything was okay. Chris S. from Brothers Heating & Cooling/ARS was assigned the job and I followed him around while he inspected the furnaces. Chris did not mind, I was there in the attic and beside him in the crawl space. I asked him a lot of questions and he took time to answer all of my questions and educated me about each system, air quality, filters, CO2 detectors and much more. Chris mentioned it was more important to build a customer relationship then selling. The bottom line is would I have my HVAC inspected by Brothers again? Absolutely, and I would ask for Chris S. more

Bad outcome but great service 8/8/2017

Our AC unit was struck by lightning and we called brothers. James came out and checked the unit. We were in the rain and he tried to get the unit running. Every time he fixed something the next board up the line was fried. He continued to try until we came to the conclusion that I need a new unit. He was very professional and polite. I would recommend Brothers and especially this tech to anyone needing AC service. By the way, after all that he just charged me a 89 dollar service fee. more

SERVICE 7/26/2017

When the word service is used, this man's picture should be a part of the definition. He was patient, exceedingly thorough, and educational. He arrived early in the evening and did not leave until about 11 o'clock. Furthermore, he saw no reason to charge me for work that was done by another technician in a less than thorough fashion. He then checked back with me the next morning to make sure that all was running smoothly. I don't know if the company will honor requests for a specific technician, but the next time I need service I will be sure to request this gentleman. more

Ben Eason from Brothers came over and addressed the cooling issues at my home after carefully explaining the functions of my particular system and the options I had in remedying the issue at hand. I was having a big issue with my unit. I requested Sakina Cordner to come to my home as she has been here before for my bi-yearly check up. She is like a pit bull and never lets up until she fixes the issue! She is very personable and friendly and explained everything as she went along. My unit is under warranty that I bought from them so there was no charge. She never lets it go until it is fixed and fixed right! I trust her so much that I have now requested that she be the only tech sent to my home for my check ups and any other issues I might have. She is very, very honest and always makes sure the customer comes first! more

Great service ... Brother's Plumbing 1/21/2017

We had to get a leak fixed and a toilet replaced on a Saturday. When I made the call, I was told the Brother's technician would be out in the afternoon, but I got a call from the technician shortly afterward saying that he could come out right away in the morning. Selvin came out and made some recommendations. He fixed the leak and put in a brand new toilet in 90 minutes. He also tested our water to make sure there was no problem with our community well water. He was polite, considerate and very professional. We don't use any other company for our heating, air and plumbing needs, and Selvin is a great example of all of the Brother's technicians that have helped us out in the past. I highly recommend them. Outstanding Technician! 9/14/2016

Billy came out to my relatives home to repair their air unit. I just happened to be there at that time. He diagnosed the problems and then he explained everything to them in a very polite & professional way. He seems very in tune, and up to date on his knowledge. He took the time to explain a couple of things to my son who is 6 years old in ways he could understand because he is extremely curious about everything! :) He even offered the 4 of us gatorades! Really great experience with this technician. If and when I need services of my own I will be requesting mr Billy! Thank you! more

One evening we arrived home from vacation to find the temperature inside was 91. Elliot was sent the following afternoon, found the problem and ordered the replacement part. Knowing it would take 2 days for it to arrive, he met someone halfway coming from Rock Hill with 2 window units to help us out in the meantime. Two days later he installed the replacement part but did not stop there. In making sure the system was now fully operational, he discovered a freon leak and ordered that replacement part. When he came to install it, he discovered he was given the wrong part. He checked around and found someone in Charlotte who had the part, picked it up and came back and installed it. It was late in the day, but he stayed until the installation was complete and he was sure the system was running properly. He clearly went "above and beyond" and put a good face on Brothers. more

Elliot came out to troubleshoot my A/C that wasn't cooling as expected. The system is about 2 years old and the indoor coil had been replaced a little over a month ago, as well. The coil replacement and Elliot's visit were at no cost and even though Brothers would not be making a penny off me, Elliot was extremely thorough and informative. He stayed until 10 Pm trying to solve the mysterious coolant leak when he had to be up very early the very next morning. I greatly appreciate the effort and patience he had. He even took the extra time to speak with me about air scrubbers, and safety features that could be installed to my system to prevent water damage. Thank you very much, Elliot! You're an asset to Brothers. more
