We decided to go to this little tea room because my grandmother was visiting and thought it would be a fun little outing. Let me tell you, don't waste your time. Although it cannot even be compared to the Ritz Carlton, it wasn't even close in any aspect.
The lady who served us was flat out rude, wouldn't explain what Devon cream was, and practically threw us our menus. The tea sandwiches tasted (or didn't taste) stale. They were limp and dry. They didn't have any egg dishes available and the tea "stewed" in the pots.
The atmosphere was dismal and I felt like I was in a Kohls showroom with cheap tablecloths and placemats. There were cheap posters on the walls and gift bags decorating the shelves.
