My 3rd visit. Had steak the first time - perfect, sea bass w/pesto 2nd time - best fish I've ever had, and snapper w/shrimp & scallops this time. There was double the amount of sauce I would have liked (see photo) and it was drowning out the flavor of the fish. Scallops were cooked/seasoned perfectly. Potatoes were delicious. Butternut squash soup needed a little pinch of something extra, but was still good. Drinks are always well made. Service is good. Very short wait times, none on a weekday night. more

I've been to EVERY major steakhouse between NYC and Florida. I read some of the reviews about Brimstone on this website and was a bit nervous. I went there for lunch and was BLOWN AWAY. If anyone complains about the price it's probably because they're not big spenders and don't visit too many steakhouses (which are known for being pricey). In my honest opinion, Brimstone is asking a FAIR price for their steaks. I ordered the shrimp cocktail for appetizer, followed by the ribeye with asparagus and about 2 drinks. I spent around $75. I certainly got my money's worth because the steak was cooked to medium-rare perfection and was salted just right. Was it as good as Ruth Chris....I would say no because I didn't detect the taste of a highly aged steak. BUT Brimstone makes an excellent steak regardless, and if for any reason I couldn't get to a Ruth Chris, I would EASILY spend my $$$ at Brimstone. The decor is gorgeous, the service is excellent and the steaks are tasty. I'll see you by the bar! more

The meat is just average compared with Mortons, but the price is not. In my opinion is too expensive for what you really get, with a bit more money you can go Mortons and get some of the best meat on your plate. more

Service was great and the dining area is modern and semi-sophisticated. The steaks were overpriced, yet very good ( I had the 20 oz bone in Kansas City Ribeye and the wife had the filet mignon. One of my most favorite appetizers is tuna tatake...peculiar way of serving it and it was not great (maybe the price should have made me slightly suspicious. Overall, it was worth visiting, but I will not return because I can get better quality cuts of steak and a much finer location at a restaurant such as Shulas.\r \r By the way...the restrooms were clean and attractive...a big plus, and parking can be difficult so valet may be a better option, which you would probably do at very high end steak houses anyway. more

We went there last night and I must say it was lackluster.\r \r We had the ceviche which was the only decent part of the meal. It wasn't too overpoweringly citrus-y and had enough kick with the jalapeno. \r \r The Caeser salad was WAY oversaturated with dressing. The romaine was wilted with the dressing and it appeared to come from a bottle, not freshly made. \r \r The rib-eye was sub par. The waitress said it was the most flavorful cut, but it was under seasoned which made it bland. It was ordered medium-rare, but came out more towards the rare side. Luckily I like my steak redder. The ribeye also came on the bone, which I thought was silly considering most steak houses prepare it off the bone. It is my belief that they leave on the bone to get the full 16 oz weight in b/c there was no way in hell the meat was actually 16 oz, more like 12 oz. \r \r I ordered asparagus with the steak, which was shockingly wilted and bland. They overcooked it to the point where any vibrant green color left.\r \r The Sangria was decent. It was a lighter version of what I'm used to. \r \r The service was was, except for one hiccup where the waitress forgot my drink order and only until after halfway through the meal I had to ask for it. \r \r It would require a major change for me to return to this establishment. At almost $100 for the meal, it was definitely not worth the price. more

If you're a steak person, this is the place for you! While the meal items stand on the pricer side of things, the food is totally worth it. \r \r I ordered the Filet Mignon with the Oscar Style topping (Crab, Asparagus, and Bearnaise) as my entree and the tuna tartar as an appetizer. Both were completely amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly (just a little pink on the inside). If you're not a big steak eater, Brimstone's menu offered many fish entrees as well as vegetarian options.\r \r The service was incredible as well, and my table was tended to very nicely. If you're willing to spend a little bit more money, I recommend anyone to go there more

My overall experience at Brimstone was positive, but the food quality just is not there considering the prices. Steaks are $36-$45, rivaling that of a fine steakhouse like the Palm or Morton's, but are not nearly the same quality. Brimstone sells graded cuts of meat sold at a Prime prices. Big rip-off. more

A friend of ours reccomended this place to us for our son's graduation party. There was 10 of us and our reservations were at 8:00. The place is HUGE, lots of booths, open kitchen, and a big outside area. The menu has plenty of different items to choose from and a nice wine list as well. The flat breads were great and so was the ceviche and the Mushroom soup , which our waiter Robert suggested (great service !) I got the Ribeye, and my wife ordered Surf and Turf, which was one of the specialsof the day. At all times our drinks and bread "rolls to die for"were filled and it seemed we had like 4 people waiting on us. It reminded me of Houstons but better. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food as well. This place is a bit pricey but the quality and service make it all worth the while Being new to the area from WPB we will definetly be back. Brimstone Woodfire Grill in Pembroke Pines is a Steakhouse and serves American Food. The appetizers I have tried are Tempura Sushi Roll listed under "American Sushi" and the She Crab Bisque; both are excellent. The entrees I tried are 16 oz Bone-In Ribeye with Crab, Asparagus, and Béarnaise (Oscar Style), The Steakhouse Pork Chops, and Chilean Sea Bass with pesto; all entrees are fit for a king. I have never had any desert here, but when I do, I will tell you know how it is.\r This review is also posted on TextDining .com more

I wasn't sure what to expect since the reviews here are pretty hit or miss. But I was impressed with it. Food was excellent. The steaks were on par with some of the better steakhouses in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale and Brimstone includes accompaniments with the entrees where fine steakhouses are usually ala carte. We had shrimp cocktail and the shrimps were large, plump and perfectly cooked. The American salad was fresh and large enough for two. The steaks were made with high quality meat and prepared just as we ordered. And the sea bass with pesto and some kind of Asian sauce was excellent. The decor is modern and tasteful. The service was right on. All in all it was a great dinner. The menu prices are high for a neighborhood restaurant but on par with a high end steakhouse which Brimstone seems to compare well with IMHO. more
