Rude receptionists. This is not just a one time experience. I've gotten a significant amount of work done and they are uninformative, rude, and deceitful. We know what our copays are, and they tried to charge us 50% more than what it normally is ($150 for the surgical anasthetic). Then when we confronted them, they just took it off and didn't give us a reason as to why they overcharged us...
We have had multiple instances of scheduling appointments and they call to confirm and give us a different time. Then we go to the earlier time they told us in the message and wait.... I waited for an hour and a half to get in after they rescheduled me to earlier, which brought us to the original time...I could've been working.
The first time I went in, I was ignored. The whole lobby went through before I went up to the counter and there was a sign in sheet. I had no idea. Only then would they recognize my existence even after making eye contact. Rude.
After my wife's oral surgery, the assistant kept talking in dental jargon that I didn't understand. She kept saying they were waiting for the "script." Are you writing a play? I had no idea what she was talking about. When I asked she responded irritated, "It's the prescription." OH! Then I waited in the car as she went to go get it, and I sat there for 15 minutes. I went in and asked what was taking so long and she hurried to the back and brought out the "script." Should have taken 30 secs...
When I got my surgery, I got dry socket. Pretty common. I went to get it taken care of and the hygenist lady put in the stuff and said, "That should do it. If it falls out, no big deal." I figured I should not let it sit in there for too long, since that's what you do with it initially. I took it out and had the worst pain I've ever felt. On my knees pain. I went back and another hygenist said, "Why did you take it out? You're supposed to leave it in for a week!" Thanks for the tip...She also discovered that the previous lady didn't even clean before inserting the gauze...infection exposure much?
This is quite long, but as we have been frequently infuriated by these people, I felt some detail was required. I don't do bad reviews or complaints unless it's warranted, and this is.
