My oldest originally started out at my work's daycare which I must admit I did not research. The place was emaculate, polished, new, and expensive, so of course it had to be the best. I learned quickly that looks weren't everything. They combined infants from 2-12 months in the same room, and researching their incidents on the TX DFPS site I found a few disturbing complaints, like mixing up breastmilk. The parents dropping off their children were incredibly polite, holding the door open for others entering the daycare which is great except that this was supposed to be a secure entry with id card swipe required. They were letting anyone in and the personnel at the desk weren't questioning anyone! Shame on me for not doing my research.
