Have I complained about things being expensive in Dumbo before? Well, I was just getting started.
Locals get robbed when it comes to dry cleaning. The owner claims he invented environmentally sound dry cleaning. If so, he should be rich, rich, rich and not have to charge $7.50 to clean a pair of pants!
Shirts start at $4.50. Outrageous.
On the plus side, they did do a great job on one thing. The sent a stained tie to tie crafters in the city and the soy sauce was gone--$250 tie saved. I guess the $20 cleaning fee was worth it that time.
