Bridesmaids Bow-Tique

Save yourself a very BIG headache! Staff was OK in the beginning. But you would think if bridal and bridesmaid dresses are your business you could get it right. Especially knowing how long it takes to plan a wedding, the dresses are a very big detail. I called the store to see if the had or could order the the dress I was looking for and they said yes and quoted a price. Me and one of my bridesmaids went the next day to try on the dress in a different color, it was the owner of the place that was helping us. She ordered the dresses in the color I wanted and said if all the girls got their dresses there the cost would be $240 if the paid in full $260 if they put half down. 8 weeks later and 4 weeks til the wedding (the owner) called to let me know the dresses were in, she said "they are beautiful" then asked "you ordered them in short right?" NO I DIDN'T!! Her response "oh" you must have been working with Carol and she must have entered it in the computer wrong". No we didn't work with Carol we had only been working with her. "well I can send them back to get them fixed and try to get them back in time" She never even tried to apologize. Then charged $30 extra per dress. My mom called the store to pay the difference on the dresses to try and spare the bridesmaids of any extra expense, and yet again never apologized but try to blame me! She said I ordered the wrong dress!! This woman has no clue what she doing, and to be the owner has no customer service skills. So after all the planning and $$$$ that goes into it this kind of stress unecessary.. Pros: had the dress i was looking for Cons: they ordered the wrong dress and charged me for their mistake more

Lots of selection but not displayed well at all. You have to be willing to pick through like it is an end of the year sale. Sales people are over bearing or completely ignore you. Ordered one dress in the wrong color and blammed the wedding party-even though the store wrote their order slip. Charged one bridesmaid too much for her dress and shoes and forgot to give another bridesmaid everything that was ordered so she had to make an additional trip out to the store. The prices are slightly less than some better known stores (the dresses I ordered ended up being about $15 less) but saving a few dollars isn't worth the hassle it has been. Weddings are stressful enough without having to deal with extra annoyances like this. Pros: Lots of selection, slightly less expensive Cons: Ditzy sales staff-no attention to detail and not professional, OTP, store displays messy and not very appealing more

I bought my wedding dress at Bridesmaids' Bowtique, after ruling out a number of area bridal shops because of bad word-of-mouth and Citysearch reviews. There is so much rudeness in these places, but working with Bridesmaids' Bowtique was a pleasure. Even though it was a haul to get out there, I kept going back because they had a great selection (though small, it was all right up my alley--not so froufrou) and were always so nice and patient with my indecision. I ended up getting a beautiful dress for a great price, and the staff handled a slight sizing mistake when the dress came in. Highly recommended for a pleasant experience, which so many of these places do not provide! Pros: Friendly service, not a cattle call Cons: OTP more

I just purchased my informal wedding gown from Michelle. She was very patient and gave me some great suggestions. I came back to choose from my "final three" and she had just gotten a new dress in that she thought I would like. Needless to say, that was the one!! I look forward to getting my dress! All of the dresses are affordable and I would highly recommend this place for any bride who wants an informal gown (no to minimal beading, contemporary looks) They have it all and at an affordable price!
