TERRIBLE! Stay away. I purchased a gown and since I live a distance from the store, I took the option to have the dress sent to me. The store sent me a defective gown that did not have a satin border on the bottom of the gown, like it should, so the dress was 6 INCHES SHORT and stopped mid ankle on me. Store refused to help claiming I cut the gown on purpose!!!!! I couldn't believe it. They really should not be in business to treat customers they way I was treated. I am an anesthesia provider in the state of connecticut, if I cut the gown, trust me I could afford a new one. They completely scammed me. I am still fighting this and it's a year later. Had to buy a new gown for my wedding. PLEASE save yourself the aggravation. NEVER HAVE A GOWN SENT TO YOU....LESSON LEARNED! Cons: Poor Service and Quality products more

My experience with the bridal mall was extremely stressful. Janet the woman who helped me find my dress was absolutely wonderful but when it came to fitting dates...it was a headache. I was told to come in 3 days before my wedding for the final fitting after I had been measured at the first fitting and picked out the cups that needed to be sewn in and brought the ribbon in that was to be sewn onto the dress. Going in for my final fitting and seeing my dress, it had not been touched since I had last seen it two weeks before! No ribbon, no alterations nothing! i put the dress on for more measurments because the hem was not the correct length and when I expressed that the dress was too tight in my stomach (being 8 months pregnant) I was asked, ''well you can deal with it being tight for a day, right?'' I scheduled another appointment for the next day so that the dress would hopefully be done. Going in the next day and seeing the dress, it was still too tight, the ribbon was not completely sewn on I was losing a lot of confidence that my dress was going to be done in time. I expressed to the seamstress that it was too tight and that my son was going to kick at the tight dress if I had to wear it that way and the reply was, ''well, children do tend to kick, but you wouldn't know that, would you?'' long story short, my dress was fixed but I dont feel that things that came out of that woman's mouth were necessary or professional, if you want to have everything done right and feel like a princess when you put your dress on everytime, then the Bridal Mall would be the last place I suggest anyone go. more

This store has everything for the wedding of your dreams! I cant belive the service I got. I went to davids bridal, and was told about the bridal mall from one of their customers in the store. They werent happy with davids and said they were going to the bridal mall after shopping around so I thought I would try them. For a mom and pop store, they really have it all. The staff was very helpful. I was waited on by Janet she was very helpful. They made the first vist so easy I had bought the dress of my dreams. I do plan on going back for my cake, and flowers. (also known as Barretts at the Bridal Mall) of Niantic, CT.\r \r I would like to inform and deter any brides-to-be and their wedding parties from using this facility where we have had a completely unacceptable experience, where the wedding and bridesmaid gowns that were purposely ordered in the wrong sizes for the bride and entire bridal party. This store seems to make it their standard practice to order dresses in sizes that do not agree with the measurements taken and the dress maker?s size charts, so they can then charge unsuspecting customers for expensive and unnecessary alterations. The staff could not be more attentive and helpful when they are trying to make a sale, doting on the bride to be and catering to the group when dresses are being selected. Yet once the dresses are paid for, they make it very clear that you are on your own to make it actually fit the way they are intended to.\r \r The general manager, Barbara Galganski has been completely unapologetic, rude and disinterested in solving the problem that was created by their unprofessional and appalling practices.\r \r A long letter outlining the situation was sent via certified mail with receipt to the owner of the store, Christopher Barrett who could not be bothered to respond to me, let alone rectify a situation his staff purposely caused. \r \r To make your dress shopping experience smoother ?
