So, there are a lot of negative reviews written by folks with really cool ski-related e-mail addrsses (""hey, look at me ... I'm a skier!""). Here's the scoop from a local ... if you can handle it, stay on E chair. Never a crowd. Why? Intimidating and challenging terrain (bumps, steeps, funky fall lines), or access the Windows. Also some great stuff on the north side of Peak 10. Or catch the Super 8 Expres at mid point. It's not Taos or Vail, but there's a good reason Breck is crowded. Unlike Taos, there's great nightlife. Unlike Vail, there's nothing ostentatious. Well, except fora few knuckleheads with really cool e-mail addresses who don't really know the mountain.
Pros: great town, great terrain, family friendly
Cons: , too close to denver
