When I told my friend that my doctor had made an appointment for my mammogram at this facility, she freaked. She had a bad experience with the technicians giving her a quick "cancer" diagnosis [which later proved to be unfounded]. My experience was fine, except for the constant nagging that "it would have been so much better if you could have brought the films from your past mammograms with you". Other than that, the technician seemed very determined to get the best breast placement on the glass. She pulled and stretched a lot, but I know that her ultimate goal was to have as much breast tissue exposed to the x-ray as possible. That's really the whole purpose.
