I was a patient here for several years. The office manager e-mailed highly sensitive personal information in the form of a Progress Note that my therapist had handwritten during a session with me to another patient by mistake. According to my therapist, Progress notes are NEVER scanned into their computer, but somehow mine was. The other patient just happened to know me, although she did not know that I was in or ever needed counseling. Amy, the office manager, was called by the other patient right away and told of the mistake. She chose to tell the other patient to just delete the info and did not report what she had done. The info contained in the Progress Note had taken me YEARS to tell anybody about. The other patient contacted me and returned this highly sensitive info to me. I have been humiliated, emotionally traumatized, and my trust has been destroyed. BEWARE of this office. They tried to blame this on an IT problem, but info doesn't get scanned by itself.
