Brad Francis Chevrolet

I saw a vehicle I wanted and was contacted by Jeff Kontos, salesman, at Brad Francis Sports Center. I explained my situation and terms. A short time later Jeff called me back and told me to come pick up the vehicle. I asked about the payment and he told me it would be $50 higher than what I wanted and told me the terms of the down payment. I agreed and went to pick up the vehicle. When I sat down to sign the paperwork, the cosigner was now the buyer and I was the cosigner. The payment they wanted was not $50 higher but was now $250 higher. They also added some things into the financing I did not want. When I told the finance guy Rob what Jeff said, his reply was that Jeff would not have said that. Jeff was sitting there and never said a word. I was going to have to try and get together an extra $1,000 on the down payment just to get it down to $150 higher than what I wanted. Needless to say, I did not buy. Don't deal with Jeff Kontos at Brad Francis Sports Center. He is the stereotypical car salesman. I'm sure there are good, honest sales people at Brad Francis but Jeff is not one of them. more

After a very bad experiences with another dealer, I contacted Brad Francis Chevrolet in Los Lunas NM. The sales person, Josh, was very helpful, even after I told him I had decided not to buy. Then the sales manager, Ken Willis, called and asked what he could do to sell me a vehicle. I explained my recent problems and told him the terms I would buy a vehicle under and exactly what vehicle I was looking for. Two hours later, he called back and said he had a deal if I could come down. I told him I was a bit leery and it was a 45 mile trip. He assured me had a firm deal, so I drove down. Two hours later (most of which was spent waiting for the finance manager) I drove off in my new truck that was exactly what I wanted at the terms I wanted. On top of that, Ken was gracious enough to loan me my old truck back so we could have some after market items swapped over. I would recommend him and Josh if you're looking for a vehicle. more
