He'll tell you these are fake reviews from a disgruntled customer. All of his customers are disgruntled because he's a liar. He will take your deposit and use it to pay for the remaining part of his current job. He won't finish your job until he gets the deposit from the next victim. Typical scamming BS contractor. more

Terrible experience 1/4/2019

We used Adam for a very small bathroom remodel. The work was done incorrectly or not at all. We made a mistake by signing his contract and paying in advance. The work was never done and our money was lost. Do not use Adam and definitely don’t prepay him for any work as he likely may never get to it. So disappointed. more

What a tool 11/18/2018

Hired Adam a few years ago for a small and simple renovation project and he went MIA from day one. Had subcontractors knocking on my door looking to get paid. Had to seek legal council to keep this jerk from putting a lien on my house. Can’t believe this idiot is still in business. more

Only thing worse than the lousy job, cost overruns, cheap materials and a relatively easy task that dragged on for 4 months was having to deal with Bowlings unprofessional attitude and excuses. more

Every time we thought our project was as customized as it could be, Adam would come up with another unbelievable idea. The quality of the work is what you would see if multimillion dollar homes. He really outdid himself on our basement! more

Great Service! 8/7/2017

My husband and I recently used Bowling Built Construction for a deck project at our house. To be honest, we were a bit hesitant after seeing some of the reviews online, however we proceeded and could not have been happier. Adam fixed several unforeseen issues and built a tremendous deck, almost 500 sf. Bowling Built Construction took care of all permitting and successfully passed all inspections. I happened to be home during one of the inspections and the Cherokee County inspector even made the comment that our deck was "extremely well built." I have read a few other reviews regarding negative experiences with Adam and/or Bowling Built Construction and all I can tell you is that we had a wonderful experience. I have already recommended him to two of my friends and he is about to remodel our master bathroom. A+ customer service, A+ reliability, A+ workmanship. Highly recommend. more

Just used Bowling Built Construction for a deck project. We couldn't be happier. Adam and his crew were professional, on time and on budget. They showed up every day and completed the project swiftly and to code. They passed all inspections and we love it! I would highly recommend Bowling Built Construction. more

Terrible Experience 1/28/2017

Do not use Bowling Built Construction, and hold your ground if you signed his self servicing contract. Do not pay him more until he finishes what he promised you. He owes many of us money so don't be a victim of his scam. At first he sounds like an honest professional and tells us things we want to hear but he does not live up to any of it. He is professional at making excuses, false promises, poor and dangerous work and blaming us for it! He is repeatidly not getting permits and surprising customers with fees that are burried in his contract which is full of legal jargon that he probably added over the years to better bully and trap his customers into paying him. I think many of his actions are crimnal and hope someone who still has some money for a lawyer can take him to court for it. more

Do Not Hire! Violated 21 of 22 code violations. Unusable Deck Unwilling to Respond and Correct Hired in July 2016. Spent 10K and have to completely replace. more

Ripped off by Bowling 1/10/2017

Bowling lied to us to get contract signed. Workmanship was pathetic, poor quality materials, cost overruns, job not finished after four months of frustration and Bowling threatened to place a lien on our home if we didn't pay him in full which included almost $1700 in penalties for "design changes." When the cheap floor buckled Bowling refused to honor his warranty claiming he wasn't paid. Do not use! more

Not a happy customer 8/17/2016

I wish I would have checked his reviews/references before hiring him. Very unhappy with the end result. It took 5 months for him to complete a job in my backyard. He used a ton of excuses as to why it took so long. If you question him he will always turn everything around to make it your fault not his. I wanted the project finished for my daughters graduation party in May and it didn't happen. He finally finished the project at the very end of May just slapping together an ugly fire pit and bench. Total waste of money we will have to take it down and start over. more

Just hired an attorney 7/26/2016

I hired Adam in October 2015. Paid him over $17k to finish my basement since. It's almost August 2016. He has promised me 8 different completion dates since March -- most recently, last Friday as the last one. Paid him for flooring in February and I still have no carpet in my basement. I am interested in hearing from ANYONE who has had similar or same issues from this premeditated liar and crook, Bowling. more

Do not use!!!!!!! 10/4/2015

Using Bowling Built Construction was a complete waste of time and money. After four months of frustration, we complete the job ourselves but still had to pay Bowling a "contract penalty" to keep him from placing a lien against our home. This seems to be a constantly recurring theme: poor workmanship, cheap materials, extensive delays, cost overruns, unfulfilled promises and threats of legal action against his customers for not wanting to pay for substandard, incomplete work. more
