I played the county amateur here last fall and I have to say that the course is just ridiculous. There are multiple holes where there is "in course OB" which is a violation of USGA rules. It just seems that they're looking to penalize players unnecessarily. The course is tough enough as it is without stupid tricks like that. The driving range is all worn-out mats on a dry hillside where distances are meaningless. Avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere. more

Great course tucked away in the hills 10/29/2005

This is a great course to play with diverse holes that keep you guessing. At times it can be hard to get a tee time but if you call a week ahead of time you can usually get what you want. The driving range at this place is pretty good and is separated from the golf course. Overall this is a course that I could play over and over. more

great place for weddings 8/19/2005

Boundary Oaks Golf Course is where everyone in my neighborhood holds their wedding receptions. The golf course is on a beautiful location, on a hill overlooking all of Walnut Creek below. The restaurant, Blakes, serves good food and facilities are very nice. Golfing of course is the main event, and it's a great place to do so. I've only done the driving range, but prices are decent and it's a fun crowd. more
