When I was first introduced to this bakery, I was with a coworker of mine. He introduced me to the wonderful pan chocolate, and subsequent trips rewarded me with getting to know the owner very well. He even invited me to have a few drinks at a neighboring sushi restaurant! The food is always tasty, and if you are a regular he will recommend items which are more freshly baked. The man works very hard to keep the place running, and has a very strong passion for working like that. Sometimes he is hard to understand because he's Vietnamese, but don't let that get you down.
Pros: wonderful food and wonderful feel for a corner bakery
Cons: sometimes dirty, sometimes have to call to him since he's working in the back
