This place has the ambiance of a upscale restaurant than a lunch place, but the prices are similar to most lunch places. The items marked "spicy" on the menu have quite a kick, so beware those of you that do not have much of a tolerance for hot food. The "bean curd with hot peppers" is exactly that - slices of bean curd stir-fried with slices of hot peppers! It's a great entrée for people that savor hot food.
I recommend their hot and sour soup. The one thing I don't like is their Spicy Chicken. I have had the confusing experience of wondering whether my entree had only chicken or fish too! I know other people that have also had the same experience. It's not that I don't like fish, but it makes me wonder how and why the fish ended up mixed with the chicken. Another time, a vegetarian roll ordered at our table had shrimp in it.
The place doesn't seem to be well-staffed for its size, and some of the staff speak very little English, which makes it difficult to make modifications to the order.
Overall the place is okay for lunch once in a while, but you should experiment with the menu at your own risk!!
