I just went to Bombay Grill last night for a special occasion, and I was really impressed.. The service was good (they watch your water glasses like hawks, though), and the staff was very nice. To drink, we had a mango lassi and a chai. The mango lassi is practically a dessert, and although served in a very tall and skinny glass, is worth the price. The chai, on the other hand, came unsweetened but with a small box of sugar and sweeteners, which I really appreciated. We had eggplant bharta and malai kofta for dinner, both of which were spicy and flavorful, and enough to take some home with us. Finally, we splurged on the dessert platter ($9.99) which came with baklava, a slice of cheesecake, and a sweet carrot dish (I forget the name). The desserts were good, but I don't think I would get the platter again; it wasn't as substantial as the waiter implied, and I don't usually buy desserts in restaurants anyway.
