Horrible Service! 2/7/2009

We went to the Bombay Bistro based on my doctors recommendation and also based on the reviews on this site. What a huge disappointment. We arrived at 6:30 pm, were greeted and sat immediately. While we made our choices based on a very extensive menu, 3 more tables were seated after us. About 6:45 p.m. we ordered our dinner, 2 Chicken Tika Masala and 1 Tandori Chicken, 2 garlic Naan. At about 7:15 the 3 other tables were receiving their dinner. We had nothing. Finally at about 7:25 we got the 2 Chicken Tika Masala dishes. We asked them where the rice and the Tandori Chicken was and they said it was coming. At 7:45 we asked for our rice again and received an attitude from the waiter. Approximately 5 minutes later we received a serving of rice for 1. My husband didn't receive his Tandori Chicken until 7:55! We asked for more rice and never got it. At about 8:10 we asked for our check and got more attitude. We got the check and they didn't charge us for the Tandori Chicken. Overall, we were terribly disappointed in the quality of the food and totally outraged by the service. This was our first and absolutely last time at the Bombay Bistro. Cons: Service, quality of food more

beutiful food and setting 5/18/2006

This place is two settings in one. They have one room that is lightly lit and romantic. The other room is where the sports bar and club floor is. You can enjoy either side. They have a club going on every friday and bellydancing on the last friday of each month. On the other hand, the food is beautiful and so seasoned rich like it was made right from india. They give you more than your moneys worth. They have the hugest menu i have ever seen. any person can go and enjoy themselves. the service is superb. they remember me everytime and it never fails, they continuously make me laugh everytime. the waiters are handsome. i recommend their chicken korma (their chicken is the best ive ever tasted, and the navrattan korma. I also get their veggie samosas with cilantro chutney. mmm... delicious! I am going there tonight! Pros: great food, great service, great setting Cons: cant say anything bad more

A Place of Many Colors 12/1/2005

Bombay Bistro is a quiet room with romantic lighting and a sophisticated look. It's also a sports bar. The trick is two rooms with dramatically different decor. Whether you want to sit in the bar or the dining room, you are privy to some of the best Indian food in the Inland Empire. Start out with a salad of chopped cucumber and onion in lemon or the lentil soup. Move on to one of the the delicious lamb and chicken dishes. Savor one of the dozen different kinds of naan. There are many vegetarian options, but also Atkins-friendly ones. The staff will always ask if you like your dishes spicy or mild. Choose something from their well stocked bar to accompany your meal, or enjoy a mango lassi. If you come for lunch, try the buffet, which is varied and quite reasonably priced. Pros: extensive menu, good parking, quiet more
