A few months ago I purchased small filter and pump, a fish tank, and a beta fish for my grandson. Soon after, the little air pump failed. As I had not kept the original receipt I didn?t even attempt to ask ?Bob?s? to replace it. I just bought a new one for $8.99 plus tax ($9.62 total) When I got it home I opened it, tossed the box and plugged it in. But the little pump was so loud you could hear it from the other side of the house! So I decided to take it back and get different model, even if it cost a little more, in hopes that it would be quieter like the first one. When I got to Bob?s Feathered Friends the man at the counter, who I assume was Bob, said that he wouldn?t take it back because I didn?t have the box! The most he would do was to give me half off what I had paid for it, just 2days before, toward a new one!! Now I must say that I was very upset by this after all the money we have spent on pets and pet supplies. It was not as if he couldn?t have sold it to someone else! We are a very pet oriented family. At the present time we have two dogs, a 95 gal salt water fish tank (that has very expensive salt water fish who keep getting eaten by the eel) Two cats, Two rabbits, a hamster and some Koi in the plant-loaded little pond and a little red slider turtle. The food alone for all of these animals costs a small fortune! But I can guarantee we will no longer be buying ANYTHING from Bob?s Feathered Friends. And besides this blog I will be letting all my pet loving friends not to patronize Bob?s Feathered Friends either! So Bob you can keep my $9.62 I hope it costs you a fortune!
