I have purchased many cars and trucks in my life and Ive learned to stay away from mom & pop lots. I went to BOB RUTH in Dillsburg spoke with a salesman, test drove a vehicle and actually spoke with the former owner of the FX35 I ended up purchasing.
Now I am not attempting to sound like the victim in a situation i created however...... When a dealer ship presents a vehicle supposedly with its maintenance history, an opportunity to speak with the previous owner who swears by the vehicle, a sales man who diagnosed the issues as normal, along with a 6/16 inspection affixed to the windshield.
Two weeks I have been in the vehicle and i have discovered the inspection sticker could not have been performed by a credible shop because the vehicle would not pass inspection today. i have had to purchase wheel bearings for the front noise as well as brake rotors. Both are inspection items.
I called the lot to give them an opportunity to address my concerns and i was told by the sales manager SORRY. So my purpose for writing this review is so consumers see whats really going on.
