Best Service out of any Chevy Dealer! 4/20/2011

After purchasing my 00 Silverado from Denooyer, it developed a slight enigne knock. After panicing on how I was going to be able to afford a new engine for a truck I just paid $10000 for.. I contacted Denooyer to see what my options were. They told me to bring it in and with in a couple days got a personal phone call from the owner himself saying that the last thing they wanted to do was sell me a non-useable vehicle, and took care of my enigne issue 100%. now THAT"S customer service. I really can't thank them enough for what they did. I would reccomend them to anyone, and they certainly got a life time customer out of me too. more

Shopping relief 4/5/2011

These guys were lifesavers. My old car died unexpectedly, and I needed good wheels fast. I have lived in the Washington DC area for several years now, and had car shopped here before, but didn't enjoy the big city dealership experience. Having grown up buying cars from DeNooyer, I got in touch with the store. They promptly called me back (my guy was Mitch) and took the time to find out what I needed, what I wanted, and what I could afford. We decided based on needs and budget that my best option was a newer used car, and Mitch directed me to the website. After viewing several options, he recommended a GM Certified car that he had drove himself, and coupled with the detailed photos on the website, was able to give me a very accurate depiction of the car. I flew to Michigan, got a ride to the dealership and met with Mitch. He had the car gassed, cleaned and ready to go. He had everything prepared, which was important to me, because it was a one way flight! In an hour, I was driving my new car back home. The car is beautiful and runs perfectly. I recommend them because they gave me a great price, having compared it with like models at other dealer sites, like Carmax and the even the GM Certified site. I liked the hometown shopping experience and the personalized attention. Most importantly DeNooyer's didn't take advantage of my less than perfect credit to jack up my rate. The dealers I've been to out here on the coast treat you like your lucky to be a customer if you don't have a AA credit. These guys worked hard to get me a good deal from the bank. They saved me enough money to get a warrenty, which I usually hate, but this is a factory bumper to bumper, so I am pretty happy having it. more

Above and Beyond in service! 7/26/2010

I noticed a noise coming from the front of the car. I looked up the number of DeNooyer Chevrolet on the internet. I didn't realize there were two. I arrived at DeNooyer at 5:45 (after service was closed). The first person I talked to was Jeff Wells who realized I was at teh wrong DeNooyer. After I explained the situation, he told me not to woryy. He had Dave Kemper get the paper work for a loaner vehicle. The following morning, John VanDyke contacted me and arranged for my vehicle ot be repaired. Then John stayed late to make sure I could pick up my vehicle after work! You should be proud of the teamwork and client care these employees exhibit. They are a fine example of a dealership at its best and most caring. Should I ever need repair in this part of the stat again, I will always remember DeNooyer in Holland. more

Be Suspicious 4/1/2010

I went there looking for a Subaru Forester and everything seemed good at first. They actually offered to sell for less than the level I'd told them plus other incentives to try to get me to buy right then. I told them I wasn't going to do anything that visit, but would be back the next day with my own financing. I actually left a good faith deposit. The next day I show up with money in hand and I'm told that the service they advertise having done on all of their Subarus wasn't done, and that it has a head gasket leak. They offered to keep it for a few more days to fix it, and I told them I'd think about it and call them the next day, and I asked for my deposit back. At the same time I asked if a similar model they had was the same story and the salesman told me he'd look into it and let me know when I called the next day. I called the next day to say I was no longer interested in the one with issues, but wanted more info on the similar model. The same salesman told me he still didn't have the information but asked for my number so that he could call me back, which he never did. I should have been suspicious the instant I looked at the car and saw it didn't have a window sticker, which I'm pretty sure is required by state and federal law. Long story short: Unprofessional. more

Don't repair here! 12/12/2008

I took my car here to get a noise looked at, and they not only charged me $50 to look at it (and quoted that it would be $700+ to fix), but also switched off my air! When I called to ask if that was a possibility they told me no and that it was probably a result of the noise. I took it somewhere else and they verified that the air was switched off and did all the repairs for under $400. The service was terrible, in other words. more

Avoid like the plague 10/27/2008

This place is the typical used car dealer with typical used car salesmen. My wife went in there to get information on a vehicle. They did their best extreme high pressure sales, tried taking advantage of her by 'floating' numbers around, and generally belittled her. I would avoid them at all costs. There is no place for them in this community with business practice the way they are doing it. They are very good at lieing and making something look like a deal, when in fact it is not and is WAY out o more

This place will finance just about anyone. Even with bad credit or bankruptcies. I walked in and picked out the car I wanted and started dealing with them. Its quite easy to talk them down to a lower price. They dont offer you much if your going to be trading in a vehicle so I would suggest selling it on the side of the road. They take along time to do all the paperwork and are very persistant people. I have had my car fixed there before also and they gave me a free loaner. OK work. more

not impressed 8/12/2005

We've taken several vehicles here for repairs, and have not been impressed. One we took in for a starting issue. They did a diagnostic and a repair, and that didn't fix the issue, so they were going to try to charge us for a second diagnostic to diagnose the original problem. We decided to take it elsewhere... it was the same thing we took it in for.... seems a little excessive in the fees department. more
