Advertisement states that this company can""repair all appliances and all brands"" This is not the case. They wil not fix front loaders, and will tell you there is no savings because it will cost a fortune to fix Cons: Can't fix all more

Dishonest and Incompetent 7/6/2009

Bob installed a new fan in my freezer incorrectly causing frost in the freezer and the refrigerator warmed. I called him to have him try to fix it, left a message, and gave him two days to reply. He did not reply. I hired someone else to do the job correctly. He admits to the mistake and said he hardly ever gets his messages (incompetent). I said I was willing to simply ask for a $105 dollar refund (the amount I was charged to fix his error) which was more than generous considering he charged me $166 (46 for the part and 120 for labor). He said he would pay half of the labor. He said that the warranty he gave me is void because I had someone else do the work to fix his mistake...of course that was only after he didn't call me back. Avoid at all costs For what it is worth, Advanced Appliance & Air repair did the job and were terrific...go with them and avoid Bob at all costs Pros: Did show up on time... Cons: but did a lousy job that needed fixed by someone else more

Avoid at all costs - deceptive and unethical business practi 4/9/2009

Refuses to honor warranty. Fails to notify customer - prior to repair - that his warranty is not valid.\r \r In my case, he informed me that the freon ""went dead"" (exactly what he wrote on the receipt) in my fridge because it was off for some time. He told me replacing it would correct the problem. His repair worked for 1 day. When I called to honor his warranty, he informed me that the fridge was leaking freon, he knew there was a unrepairable freon lean leak when he did the repair, and that there was nothing he could do. I'm out $260 .\r \r Avoid him at all costs, I would shop around, his prices are the same as everyone else, but he is misleading and fails to honor his published warranty. He only accepts cash as payment. Cons: You'll get ripped off. more
