I have received flowers from Blue Iris several times in the past and they were always fresh and beautiful.However this time was different.\r My arrangement was to be delivered in the am on Monday but was delivered in the pm on Tuesday.\r The roses were open and bruised. When Blue\r Iris was called on Monday, I was told they attempted to deliver the flowers Monday PM and I was not at work, which was not true. I am dissapointed that so much money was spent and the flowers are not fresh at all. more

I have used Blue Iris Florist many, many times and they have always done an outstanding job! Their flowers are fresh, the design is always beautiful and breath taking and their prices are very reasonable.\r I sent flowers to my mom last week and she immediately called me to tell me what a beautiful bouquet she got! She said that everyone in her office was just stunned. Well i have used these guys for a long time now and they have never failed on me. They are very helpful and i personally love their flowers. Ofcourse everyone at holidays they get hectic and sometimes just as anyone they might slip on their work, but if they do im sure they compensate for their mistakes. as for FTD i never realy do trust their work. So you think you bought the perfect bouquet from FTD? So you think you can trust FTD to have HONEST florist vendors representing them such as Blue Iris Florists? So you think Blue Iris Florist on Fairbanks North Houston is the one for you?! WRONG!!!!\r \r I ordered flowers for my mom this Valentine's Day 2008 through FTD last Monday (one week before the crazy day!). I was actually the one to receive the flowers this morning and low and behold, they were not the flowers I ordered! The order I placed on the internet at FTD was something COMPLETELY different, more expensive and specially made for Valentine's Day.\r \r Blue Iris Florist sent my mother a cheap flower arrangement and the vase was NOTHING like the picture on FTD's website, not even close to trying to 'substitute' it per FTD's policy. When I called FTD, unsurprisingly customer service for EXISITING orders was unavailable and couldn't answer my call, so I tried the new order line and they answered and patched me through to customer service that I needed to speak with. They called the florist and the Blue Iris Florist gave a lame excuse of ""We called FTD last night and told them we didn't have anymore of the red vases with the dangling ceramic heart on them, so we substituted it with another vase"". OH REALLY?! Well then tell me why in the world did they substitute EVERYTHING, even flowers?! SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r \r DO NOT buy from this florist, think more than twice, cause they are doing business ALL WRONG in H-Town, and I'm glad we have tools such as these, in order for unsatisfied customers like me and the other 2 people before me, to voice our opinions and our deceptions! Blue Iris florist had my order to deliver roses to my finance for Valentine's Day Feb 14, 2007. No roses were ever sent on Feb 14 even after repeated phone calls to Blue Iris had their employee's lie several times that they would indeed be delivered. I called Blue Iris first thing Thursday Feb 15th and canceled the order. I also sent a formal email via their web site to cancel the order a voice my opinion. Blue Iris arrogantly tried to deliver after 3:00 pm on both Feb 15th and Feb 16th only to have the delivery refused on my orders. I encourgage everyone to think real hard and long before they consider Blue Iris Florist for anything. You would be much better off buying your own flowers from a local retailer and delivering them yourself. Thank you Blue Iris for spoiling mine and my finance's Valentine's Day. Don't choose this florist, if you actually want your selection delivered! Although their prices might entice you, it's not a deal if the recipient never gets the gift! I ordered a birthday balloon bouquet, and 3 of the balloons were drooping by the time it was finally delivered, and the balloons were pinned with a safety pin to a worn out half-stuffed animal of unknown origin. Also, when you call their number, you usually get a sleepy ""hello""? instead of a business greeting announcing the name of the business. Very sloppy, and no follow up. more
