Ok, so there's like 5 restaurants total in my neighborhood. I include the diner and pizza joint. So, this place doesn't have to be nearly as good as it is. Bleu has really nice decor, including an old abused player piano, dinning couches, and an outdoors wooden deck, with charming hanging tchotchkas; also, a full bar. Though it is on the pricey side, for a normal night out, it's not too bad for a "nice" restaurant. The fare is Euro-American type stuff, cooked carefully, with a sensitive palate. It's not pretentious, despite it's name.
Personally, I like the large oversized sculpted metallic letters B L E U, that hovers above the awning, like a fun house or Stan's dounuts.
